The Origin Story
Holmestead Acres was established in 2021, but its story began long before the first vines took root. Growing up on family grape farms and spending many summers working in the vineyards instilled a lasting legacy of curiosity, appreciation, and respect for the craft.
Today, the vineyard is managed and maintained by George Farms II, a family with over 200 years of collective experience cultivating these lands. Their attention to detail, the region’s favourable growing conditions, and centuries of harvest tradition ensure the production of top-quality grapes year after year..
